Murray Bridge’s Moore Engineering build a range of emergency services vehicles and have supplied fire trucks to SA Country Fire Service for many years. When the CFS specified a Storz adapter which is not commercially available, Moore’s had to purchase 2 cast fittings, machine them and weld them together. A better solution was needed.

Kennewell CNC developed a CAD model for approval and machined the adapter from solid aluminium for testing. This involved Autodesk Inventor, CNC Turning and Milling. Further collaboration with Moore Engineering created the current design which is a 2 piece swiveling adapter which performs better and is cost effective. It also replaces imported product. Kennewell CNC machines and assembles this product and many others for Moore Engineering.
