Experience
Established in 1995, Kennewell CNC Machining has delivered the benefits of modern machining to customers large and small.
KCNC continues to machine a huge variety of components for different agricultural machines. Many involve welding heat treating and plating.

We have developed several robotic part loaders to machine high volume parts more efficiently and accurately than had been done before.

KCNC demonstrated innovation to machine thousands of water meter castings for SA homes when others failed.
We organized and led a consortium to manufacture a leading brand of shearing equipment. Supply of components still continues.
When a railcar fabricator was caught out when the contracted machine shop closed business part way through a critical order, KCNC stepped in and completed the job within budget and on time. This began a strong and lasting relationship which continues to benefit both businesses.

We machined, polished and assembled the reservoir assemblies and accessories for Dentsleeve medical equipment from prototypes to production for many years until Dentsleeve was sold to a Canadian firm. We were the only machine shop prepared to ensure blemish free delrin and stainless steel parts were supplied.

KCNC was subcontracted to help a less capable machine shop supply thousands of important focal rings to a leading spotlight manufacturer. There were significant challenges to ensure they were supplied without any scratches or blemishes & delivered on time for a critical price point. We developed a new method of “Part Catching” these barfed aluminium parts to meet the customer’s requirement. The parts were carefully packaged to prevent damage.  The job continued for several years.

To improve productivity and reliability of a customer’s very old cog machine, we fitted 2 digital drives with PLC controllers to optimize cutting data and fabricated a guard. We also sourced cutting tools with modern coatings to increase production. The same customer has us operate their helical broaching machine which we maintain. This machine process was also improved with coated broaches.
